2017 Days of Action

Day of Action has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 8th. If you wish to participate, click here to sign up!

Each year in June, communities around the world come together to harness the volunteer spirit and improve the conditions in which they live. Now in its 19th year, United Way Day of Action is an invitation for people and organizations around the world to LIVE UNITED and take action to address a variety of challenges. It is a day that we ask you to help us put our mission into action by helping to create a more vibrant community for us all!

The St. John the Baptist Head Start program’s objective is to academically and socially prepare children for kindergarten. Knowledge that their children are in a safe, nurturing learning environment helps parents focus their attention on employment and other important family issues.

Volunteer opportunities include:
◊ Painting an exterior fence
◊ Creating early learning kits
◊ Other various projects

*minors must be accompanied by an adult*

:: Please fill out our waiver and bring with you on the day of the event.  ::
