Our findings in a recent statewide report on Poverty reveals that almost 38% of St. Tammany Parish families are not earning enough to just “get by”. These families are people that you say hello to every day – it could be the bus driver who takes your children to school, the cashier at the supermarket or the barista at your favorite coffee shop.
These families, know as ALICE - Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employeed - are struggling to meet their most basic needs depend on the services we fund. Our

vulnerable to emergencies.
Your generosity is more crucial than ever. Your continued donation will help fund critically needed United Way supported services and provide help for those in crisis.
