Women’s Leadership Council Invites YOU to GET ON BOARD!
In January, Women’s Leadership Council of United Way of Southeast Louisiana kicked off a two-part initiative focused on training women for board service – with the ultimate goal of placing more women on boards of directors. There is no cost for the training. The components of the initiative are as follows:

Training: The Roles and Responsibilities of the Individual Board Member and Collective Board February 4th, 5 – 8 pm. United Way Building, 2515 Canal Street (parking in rear).
Succinct overview of the roles and responsibilities of nonprofit board members and emerging trends in board structures and process. The purpose is to make new board members more productive from the very beginning of their board service as well as to raise the capacity of the boards they serve. There is no charge.
