United Way of Southeast Louisiana (UWSELA) is proud to announce its new volunteer leaders who will serve the organization throughout the 2020-2021 campaign year and beyond. 

Comprised of business and community leaders, volunteers help further United Way's mission through their decision-making, governance and stewardship while improving the lives of people in Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington parishes.

Material donations requested to support storm evacuees

NEW ORLEANS - United Way of Southeast Louisiana (UWSELA) is requesting public donations of basic hygiene supplies and small children’s toys for Hurricane Laura evacuees located in New Orleans. The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services is reserving area hotels to house an estimated 7,000 storm evacuees, which is expected to rise to 10,000 in the week ahead.
