Incoming board, campaign chairs poised to mobilize community to action
NEW ORLEANS – United Way of Southeast Louisiana announced its incoming volunteer leadership for 2025–26. Elizabeth Ellison-Frost, community relations manager at Chalmette Refining – PBF Energy, will serve as board chair, and Drew Marsh, Entergy chair and CEO, will serve as campaign cabinet chair.
Ellison-Frost has been a dedicated UWSELA supporter and volunteer for more than 17 years. Her extensive experience and commitment to lifting families out of poverty make her a trusted leader to help guide UWSELA’s mission forward.
“I started my volunteer journey with United Way in 2008 at my workplace, Chalmette Refining,” said Ellison-Frost. “Since that time, I have learned about the mission of United Way and how it impacts all of our lives in Southeast Louisiana and beyond. I was proud to serve as an Employee Campaign Coordinator, Women United Chair, and on the Campaign Cabinet. And now I am truly honored and blessed to be serving as the 2025-26 Chairman of the Board of Trustees and with your help look forward to eradicating poverty together.”
A longtime donor and advocate, Marsh has championed United Way’s work alongside Entergy, united in a shared focus on creating prosperous, resilient communities where we live and work.
“I am honored to serve as the campaign cabinet chair for the 2025 UWSELA giving campaign, which builds on Entergy’s partnership with United Way to uplift our most vulnerable communities,” added Marsh. “By uniting with other local partners, companies and community members, we can pave the way for a brighter future in our region. I encourage everyone to join and contribute to this important mission to create lasting change.”
Michael Williamson, UWSELA president and CEO, said, “Elizabeth and Drew bring a wealth of experience, passion, and vision to these roles. Their leadership will help us engage more people and organizations in our work to ensure every family has the chance to build a better life. I couldn’t be more grateful to have them leading alongside us.”
UWSELA and its partners remain focused on strengthening communities, advancing financial security, creating opportunities for young people and improving health for all across Southeast Louisiana.
