DEADLINE TO APPLY TO BE A VOLUNTEER REVIEWER IS WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5, 2023.
United Way of Southeast Louisiana (UWSELA) is seeking community volunteers to serve as grant reviewers to help read and rate proposals for our 2023-2026 Blueprint for Prosperity program grants. Volunteers with subject matter expertise will serve as peer reviewers to objectively evaluate a competitive group of grant applications against the criteria in the Blueprint for Prosperity Programmatic Grant (BPPG) cycle. Reviewers will be chosen based on their knowledge, education, experience and any criteria included in BPPG that the applicants must respond to.
Requirements
Volunteers are asked to commit approximately 15 hours to the review process - from April 10, 2023 – May 3, 2023 - including attending a mandatory training. A virtual training will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Volunteer reviewer applications are due Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
Currently funded partners and those seeking funding for 2023-2026 are not eligible.
