Blueprint for Prosperity Grant Opportunities

United Way of Southeast Louisiana is pleased to announce its FY2016-2017 Blueprint for Prosperity grant opportunities.

In 2013, United Way of Southeast Louisiana embarked on a transformation process to ensure our future as a leading partner in important and effective strategies that people care about. We began with Community Conversations in our seven parish service area and identified Poverty as the big issue.  We then brought more than 100 Thought Partners together to determine how we would address the big issue.   As a result, in January 2016, our Board of Trustees approved our new Blueprint for Prosperity, including the BIG goal, a new vision, outcomes, strategies and guiding principles.  We are excited to announce that we are firmly committed to providing funding to organizations and collaborative partnerships that are of like mind.

Grant opportunities are available to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations and collaborations [partners working on a specific issue to address poverty; at least one partner must be a 501(c)3 organization]. Organizations must align with our new Prosperity Blueprint and be able to impact our vision of "equitable communities where all individuals are healthy, educated, and economically stable through focusing on one or more of the four high-level outcomes; Stability Today, Prosperity Tomorrow, Personal Wellness and Vibrant Communities.
