Williamson’s Notes: Every Picture Tells a Story

UWSELA Year in Review

2021 was another year of significant challenges - an ongoing pandemic, economic downturns, and Hurricane Ida – all of which continue to threaten our quality of life in Southeast Louisiana. But helping people in our community overcome challenges is what United Way of Southeast has always done

With all its difficulties, 2021 also presented significant opportunities – an opportunity to grow stronger, rebuild and reimagine our communities, and build a brighter, more equitable Southeast Louisiana for us all.

The challenges offer so much to learn and are impossible to forget as we look back on the year. But today, I’m choosing to remember the smiling faces, the triumphs, the people who made it all possible, and the promise of a brighter future ahead.

Please enjoy the stories in our photo year in review and imagine how you can give someone a better tomorrow by joining United Way in 2022.

Living United,

Michael Williamson
