Rainbow serves low income working families and families in crisis. We serve 175 families each year with children between the ages of 1-5. Through our program, parents pay sliding scale rates based on income, and children enter Kindergarten ready to learn
Your donation will help Rainbow meet their GivingTuesday goal: to build STEM Centers in all 7 classrooms and to replace a shed on our playground lost due to Hurricane Ida.
More About Us
Rainbow is a 4 Star Center, approaching our 40th anniversary, serving the Greater St. Tammany Community. The need for affordable child-care is as important as reaching at-risk children and preparing them for kindergarten. Our program allows Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed families the opportunity to break the cycle of dependence on public assistance while ensuring that children are meeting and surpassing their developmental milestones, entering kindergarten ready to learn. We build strong families at Rainbow and strong families build strong communities!
