Chief Financial Officer
Debra Modlin joined United Way of Southeast Louisiana in 1988 and has held various accounting positions within the organization throughout her tenure. She was appointed to her current roles as Chief Financial Officer in 2007 and oversees all aspects of the organization's finances, information technology, risk management, and facilities management. Debra also serves as a Plan Trustee for UWSELA's 401K Retirement Plan and staff lead for UWSELA's Finance & Operations Committee, Investment Committee, and Audit Committee.
Before joining United Way, she held positions with a national bank in the commercial lending division and a local mortgage corporation. Debra has a B.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Louisiana Society of CPAs and an alumni member of United Way Worldwide's Financial Issues Committee.
