Success Story
Mr. John Price returned home in July of this year after spending 4 years incarcerated at East Feliciana Parish Jail. Within a month home, he started working at Goodwill, and not long afterwards began leading one of their crews. He has also been working on his relationship with his son – his son started working at Goodwill too after seeing how he was doing there. Now that Mr. Price has a constant income, he has been working on finding his own space, establishing independence, and going to the next stage. Mr. Price has been a rockstar client: he stays focused, he takes suggestions, he’s a great listener and has a good attitude, and as a result he’s seen quick success. Since his release, he's stayed connected with the First 72+ which is our objective – he’s showing us his progress so we can celebrate with him. It’s really important for us to see that success in our program. We are so excited to see Mr. Price continue to grow and thrive!
