Hungry for Impact: Tangipahoa Red Beans Edition

United Way of Southeast Louisiana's Annual Campaign is underway in Tangipahoa Parish thanks to the hundreds of supporters who turned out for this year's kick-off, the inaugural Tangipahoa Red Beans 'N Rice Cook-Off. We raised over $3,000 to support critical United Way programming in the areas of health, education, and financial stability.

Please join me in thanking our event co-host RE/MAX Select, cook-off committee members, community partners, cook-off teams, and generous sponsors – Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Co., Louisiana Federal Credit Union, Neill Corporation, Northshore Broadcasting, Swamland Leather Company, Cashe Coudrain & Bass, and C&S Wholesale Grocers.

I'm already looking forward to next year's event and another opportunity to cook up some impact in Tangipahoa. Drop me a line at CammieP@UnitedWaySELA.org if you're interested in participating in our 2020 cook-off. The spots are sure to fill up fast!
