NEW ORLEANS – United Way of Southeast Louisiana will host a series of public financial education classes on four Tuesdays in April in honor of Financial Capability Month.
Sessions led by expert financial capability specialists will cover three topics including money management basics, the ins and outs of credit, and safe banking with reputable financial institutions and reliable financial products.

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program began operation in 1969, and provides free, high-quality tax preparation for low to moderate-income taxpayers. Currently, VITA is a matching grant program powered by IRS-certified volunteer tax preparers.
